about

This was the second release for the band, as we had allready released Harvest and Iron Giant digitally in 2012. In the spring of 2013 we recorded 5 more tracks which ended up as a limited green cassette of 100 copies (sold out). The songs Imperial Duster, Witchcoven and Havest was re-recorded for "Explore The Void", and that's where you'll find them.

"This is not the kind of modern stonerrock you hear these days, it is more reminiscent of Black Sabbath, with a warmer sound. It has an old school fuzzrock vibe to it and the effects and arrangements are brilliant. The music it not easy to pinpoint but some tracks are close to 70s heavyrock and psychedelia with lyrics that rages from sci-fi to mysticism. You can also find very atmospheric and doomy passages in the music. As a whole the band forms a tight outfit with their sound and melodies. Melodies that at certain points could wake up the Greatful Dead. In tracks such as Harvest and El Capitano you can also find some of the fantasy and energy that Wolfmother resembles."

about

Craneium Turku, Finland

The Sign Records

Finnish heavy psych band Craneium has created their own style of fuzzed out music. With a dynamic take on what some describe as stoner rock, the band breathes 70’s heavy rock as well as 90’s desert psychedelia.

The release of Craneium's third album “Unknown Heights” (2021) was the start of the band's partnership with Swedish label The Sign Records.
