Second single from our upcoming album "The Narrow Line"

"..and while it’s the shortest song on The Narrow Line at four and a half minutes, it nonetheless stands as an example of Craneium working in the space they’re making their own throughout the album, culling influence from desert rock and heavy psych, doom and a full swath of other whatnots in order to strike the balance between wall-o’-fuzz and the solo that cuts through in the second half. Dig that mix. Then the vocal harmonies return. There’s some underlying grunge thrown into the stylistic palette as well — it’s the brown you’ll hear in the guitar tone."
-The Obelisk

"Their first released track “I’m Your Demon” is a heavy layered fuzz track with good vocals and excellent solos."
-Fuzzy Sun

“I’m Your Demon”, the bands latest single release, more refined, reflective and not as fuzz-laden. Here though the phased-vocals present a submerged, psychedelic quality, a spacey sound before the lift off with stuttering fuzz for the chorus which gives the album the subtle contrast it needs to stand out from the crowd, an experimentation on top of the original rule book."
-Metal-Temple

about

Craneium Turku, Finland

The Sign Records

Finnish heavy psych band Craneium has created their own style of fuzzed out music. With a dynamic take on what some describe as stoner rock, the band breathes 70’s heavy rock as well as 90’s desert psychedelia.

The release of Craneium's third album “Unknown Heights” (2021) was the start of the band's partnership with Swedish label The Sign Records.
